What we believe...

The basics

We believe that life is meant to be lived in relationship with Jesus Christ. In common with other Christians and other churches, we want to deepen that relationship and to follow the way that Jesus taught.

The Church of England

Pip n Jim's is a part of the Church of England and we share the basics of our faith with the Anglican church worldwide. People often point to something called "The 39 Articles" as the basis of Anglicanism. The 39 Articles of Religion were published in The Book of Common Prayer and have set out the basis of Anglican faith and belief for several hundred years.

The 39 Articles are quite traditional in their language but the main points are:

• We believe in one God - Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

• We believe that the Bible contains everything we need in order to have a relationship with God and live as God would intend.

• We understand the Nicene creed as the sufficient statement of the Christian faith.

Other associations

Pip n Jim's are a member church of the Evangelical Alliance and part of the New Wine network. We are also committed to our participation in Churches Together in Walderslade.
